I said that I would do a review on these nails later. Well... its later.

I absolutely love these nails! I have had them own for a good hour and that haven't popped off once. I got these nails in my univoxbox from influenster. I'll be back in a week to let you know if they're still on.

Unfortunately, this shade(the darkest) was a little too light for me. I did try it on my inner wrist, which is a tad lighter than my face, it matched perfectly. I found it to be very blendable, light, and smooth. I'm gonna give it to a friend. If it came in a darker shade I would definitely buy it.

*update: I really wanted to give this foundation a shot. So I added a little of my other liquid foundation, which helped a lot. It matched my skin perfectly.

Yoga!!

I recently started doing yoga and I love it. I discovered Yoga with Adriene's youtube channel I've been doing it for two days now and I can tell a difference. I've always wanted to try yoga and I wish I started years ago. Hopefully this Summer I'll be able to find a local instructor.

Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge

   I'm not sure if I've mentioned this or not but I Love Gilmore Girls! It's one of my favorite shows; right next to I Love Lucy Sex and the city, and Blossom. I started watching Gilmore Girls rather late. THREE years after the show ended. I caught a rerun over my friend's house and I was hooked. I've watched every episode at least twice. 
   I probably forgot to mention that I LOVE to read. When I was a child that's all I would do. I would read everything I got my hand on. My mother loves to read also. I guess you could say she passed it down to me. I couldn't get enough of reading. I would get in trouble for staying up passed my bedtime.... reading. Lol. I even read Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe in the 6th grade! I'm was/am a introverted nerd. Unfortunately, life got in the way and I lost my passion for a lot of things including reading. I've never lost the urge to read and my passion is slowly resurfacing. I'm very excited about that. I'm always on the hunt for a good book. And I haven't been so lucky... until recently. 
    Last night, I came across the Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge. Aha! It is exactly what I need. One of the main reasons I love Rory is because she loves books.She's super intelligent and she never makes anyone feel inferior to her(unlike Paris Geller). She has a vast knowledge that ranges from politics to pop culture. In a way she reminds me of myself. 
     So back to this reading list. I took the challenge on list challenges website and I scored 49 out of 339 books. I was very impressed by that.Lol. I read most of those before or during high school. That's saying a lot because at my high school; the required reading was usually the movie version. Smh.
    Today, I spent the afternon in the library and it felt amazing. I went in to get two books and left with seven(some aren't on the list). I have five on hold. I'm not sure if I'm gonna start with Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen or Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I'm very indecisive. So I might end up reading both at the same time. I gonna start tomorrow afternoon. Until then I'm reading The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison(it isn't on the list). "I live in two worlds,one is a world of books."-Rory Gilmore

Sweet treats: Blue Bell Moo-llennium Crunch

I think I have a new favorite!! I've been seeing this in the grocery store for a while; I decided to give it a shot. I love it. I got it in a pint but I'm definitely getting the half gallon later on today. Yummy.

My massive sweet tooth

I am a big fan of desserts! If I could I would eat sweets all day, everyday. I'm the type of person who will eat dessert right before dinner. Please don't judge me. :-) Thankfully, my dentist can't tell. Lol. No cavities! I've recently become obsessed with sea salt caramel. I LOVE IT!!! Aaaaah! So good. Whether its brownies or ice cream, I can't get enough.

My all time favorite brand of ice cream is blue bell ! Everytime they have a new flavor I have to try it. My favorite is Homemade vanilla. I also like home made in the shade(its homemade vanilla with hot fudge poured over it)*drools* I love lemon too! Which I believe is seasonal. If you from the South you not how AMAZING this ice cream is. I went to Walmart to get some milk and of course I ended up on the ice cream aisle. I was craving something sweet. I decided to be good a get a pint instead of a half gallon. The Banana Pudding flavor caught my eye. Banana puddin' is a staple in the South.

This tastes EXACTLY like banana pudding. It has whipped cream, vanilla wafers(cookies), and banana ice cream. As always Blue Bell never disappoints!

Yesterday, I went to Dunkin Donuts(my first time ever). For signing up for dunkin updates, I got a free medium beverage. I had to get by the end of this month. Since I'm forgetful I decided to get it while I was out. It was semi warm. So I decided to get a cool drink. I went with the vanilla bean coolata . It was really good. I think it may be my Summer drink.

PINCHme: My first box.

PINCHme is a site that you get to try products before you buy them. I just discovered the site a few weeks ago. So far I really like it. I received my first box late last week. My second box should be here any day. I love coffee; especially specialty drinks. I was only able to pick one thing for my first box and it was the gevalia caramel macchiato. I was very excited to try this item.

I was very disappointed in this product. It looked pretty. It smelled great! It didn't taste so well.

I just one to say that I am confused. I took a nap and missed the first half of tonight's episode. One thing I know for certain..... I believe Mrs. Dilaurentis is 'A'!! I never trusted her.

My lack of motivation

           I have a bad habit of procrastinating. It is something I need to work on but a usual I always put it aside. My New Years resolution is to get fit and healthy; I'm sure everyone says this at some point. Well for a few months I was following through but somehow this month I dropped the ball. Now, I'm struggling to get back in the game. So I'm writing this post as a way of motivating myself. I hope that this will work.
              I'm planning on starting fresh in the morning. If I have to force myself I'm gonna do it. Maybe I should put on work out clothes.. that could trigger something... possibly.

Possibly the best salad I've ever eaten!!

Today, I decided I would treat myself to lunch. I deserve it! I've been eating pretty healthy; so I decided to go to the local chicken finger place. If you're near the Mobile(Alabama) area; definitely check it out! I usually order a "box" it has five chicken fingers, cole slaw, fries, and Texas toast. Always, Always get foo sauce. Today, I tried something different, a salad....... I'm not really a salad girl but I was craving one. 

This was soooooo good. It has bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and of course chicken fingers. I added some red onions to mine. Yummy. I chose ranch for my sauce. I'm usually a foo sauce girl. Foosackly's is the best place ever. I'm so glad that my former roommates(they were the best) told me about this local gem; when I moved here for school.

Pretty Little Liars!!

So we've discovered that Ezra is NOT "A"! I'm so relieved and confused at the same time. Ezra says he's been writing a tell all book about Ali. Wonder where that leaves Ezria? It doesn't look good. Now we're back to square one; Who is A?! Grr!

    Spencer is having a problem with prescription pills. I think the stress is getting to her. Since Ravenswood has been canceled(thank goodness); I wonder will Haleb be back on. I hope Caleb will answer our questions.

       Everytime I get ticked off with this show and bored. They switch it up again. Either way I can't stop watching.

Influenster: Looks like I might be getting a box!!

I'm excited!!!! *in my Oprah voice* Last week I received an email from Influenster saying that I was on the short list for the upcoming voxbox and that I should complete the survey by 2/17, I believe. I completed the survey and today I received another email stating that I'm "a perfect match for the Uni Voxbox"

Eeek! So hopefully, that means I'll be getting my very first voxbox. *crosses fingers* I shall keep you posted. See ya later!

I don't know what's going on with you this season but whatever it is you need to get over it! You're acting all high and mighty but we all know you don't have anything going on since The New Normal got canceled and your recurring role on Glee has ended. You were quiet last year because you had gone "Hollywood" and now that your light is starting to dim. You're becoming bitter. Yes, I do believe that you are jealous of Kenya. She has your old spotlight but you let that happen. Kenya is slowly taking your place and you can't take it. You are always instigating mess and then try to turn everyone against Kenya. You know what! The fact that you're making Kenya grow on us viewers is because you keep bullying her is ticking me off! Kenya has effed up  a lot but she's slowly winning our hearts. If you don't be careful; YOU probably won't be returning. Kenya has shown that she carry the show all by herself. Get it together Nene!

Kandi

I like Kandi but she really needs to talk to her mother. Mama Joyce is taking it way too far and it looks like she won't be stopping anytime soon. I think Todd is a great guy for Kandi; but its so much that he can take. She's gonna look around he'll be gone. Talk to your Mama, Kandi.

I just want to say I love me some her! She's is so fab and pretty! She's also messy but that makes good reality tv right. I really want her to hold a peach! She can take Phaedra or Porsha's spot.

Campbell's Cheesy Chicken & Rice Casserole- (Fail!!!)

What happens when you're starving and in a rush?

This happens! 

I know you're probably thinking what the heck is that?!

Well, it may not look like it but its Cheesy chicken and Rice.

Let's go back. So  late last night I decided to make this dish(its one of my favs.)Only to realize that I didn't take the chicken out of the freezer. Grr. I only had drumsticks in the freezer because the way my budget is set up.*Kevin Hart voice* I've used drumsticks before and it came out fine. Then I noticed that I accidentally grabbed a can of Cream of mushroom AND chicken(that explains the dark coloring). I didn't know you could get that in one can. I always skip the veggies because I'm picky. lol. I also forgot to pick up some foil. I didn't have shredded cheddar cheese on hand so I used mozzarella; DON'T use mozzarella. Dangit. I've made this dish twice before and it looked like the recipe pic above except I don't add veggies. Next time I'll be sticking with the cream of chicken and either breast or thighs. I wish I had pics of my first two attempts; it was definitely pic worthy. Even though this dish wasn't as pretty it still tastes great. It's not as great as my Mama's but I'm still learning. It is still my go to one pot dish. Cooking is trial and error. So you leave and you learn.:-) Well, I'm gonna pour myself a glass of sweet tea and enjoy this meal.Remember to follow directions.
